NEW COURSES COMING MID-SUMMER
RACE START TIME IS 7AM (HALF) AND 8AM (10K)
Cocoa Beach Half Marathon Turn by Turn
· Race start at Hangars Beach (across from runway / 745 South Atlantic Avenue – A1A – Patrick Space Force Base)
· Run north on State Road A1A to Hernando Lane/adjacent to and on north side of Ron Jon Surf Shop (about 8.7 miles)
· Right (south) on Ocean Beach Blvd. to Flagler Lane (approximate area)
· Turnaround at Wakulla Lane (turnaround point will be clearly marked with a course director)
· North on Ocean Beach Blvd.
· Right (east) on Marion Lane
· Left (north) to back entrance of Shepard Park
· Clearly marked loop through Shepard Park to beach accesss
· Beach access (east) to low tide/hard-packed beach
· South on beach (2.8 miles)
· Right (west) off of beach at east side of Minutemen Causeway (large lifeguard tower, volunteer waving flag and palm-tree lined path near dune line)
· Right (north) onto State Road A1A
· Right onto I Dream of Jeannie Lane to Finish Line and post-race celebration!
Cocoa Beach 10k Turn by Turn
· Race start inside Lori Wilson Park south entrance (1500 North Atlantic Ave. Cocoa Beach) On I Dream of Jeannie Lane
· Turn Right out of Lori Wilson Park and onto A1A
· Run north on State Road A1A to Hernando Lane/adjacent to and on north side of Ron Jon Surf Shop (about 8.7 miles)
· Right (south) on Ocean Beach Blvd. to Flagler Lane (approximate area)
· Turnaround at Flagler Lane (turnaround point will be clearly marked)
· North on Ocean Beach Blvd.
· Right (east) on Marion Lane
